Currently
he is an appointed consultant for Arkib Negara Malaysia playing role in the formulation
of policy and strategic planning for records management, and seasonal speaker
for MAMPU in the same discipline. He has full understanding on issues related
to information management, having presented his papers in international seminar
at IBIMA-Australia, InterPARES-South Korea, InterPARES-Oslo (Norway) and
locally at IBIMA-Kuala Lumpur and other seminars organized by local IPTA and
organizations.
At
international level, he is a member of TEAM Malaysia as project manager for
Data Archive research in internationally collaborative project; InterPARES
which aims at developing the knowledge essential to long term preservation of
authentic records created and/or maintained in digital form and providing the
basis for standards, policies, strategies and plans of action in collaboration
with University of British Columbia (Canada), Social Science and Humanities
Research Council of Canada, United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural
Organization (UNESCO) and members from Japan, South Korea, Italy, Canada,
Catalonia, Turkey, China , Columbia, Mexico, Netherlands, United Kingdom,
Singapore and Brazil.
As a consultant
and trainer, Alwi strives to synchronize channels of communication with the
audience at all times as he feels it is pertinent tool in the area of training.
He believes in the principles of follow up strategy, response and feedbacks as
these indicate the effectiveness of the delivered modules as well as conveyance
of message and contents. He also believes in the ability of individuals as
human capital that can grow to the fullest in very conducive environment that
will hence nurture the ability to be creative and innovative in a person which

DR. SAKINAH SALLEH
DR. Sakinah Salleh is an independent trainer, entrepreneur, motivator, counselor and consultant. Having a second class upper degree in BA Human Sciences from International Islamic University Malaysia, and pursued her Diploma in Education from the same university and continued later her post degree program, Msc in Counselling from Universiti Malaya and getting her PhD in Education (Psychology and Counseling) from International Islamic University Malaysia. She started her careers as a teacher while giving out assistance, training, and motivation courses for school children, university students and adult learners. She later delved into family and career counseling and group counseling for workers, single parents and working mothers as few government agencies required so. She delved into motivation and counseling handling all aspects and issues pertaining to human psychology and emotional well beings.
Being a license counselor, DR. Sakinah was very active with several NGOs in helping the needs. She is one of the board trustees for Yayasan Peramah and Ahli Lembaga Pengarah for Koperasi Khalifah Jiwa since 2013 until now. Teaching was also part of her skill, for she is also a part-time lecturer for adult learners program at University Malaysia Center for Continuing Education (UMCCeed) in the area of Counseling and Psychology. She has full understanding on issues related to adult learners, emotional and spiritual well being of adults, challenges and issues relating to young adults, women and single working mothers as a result of years of exposure dealing with these group of people. She involved in several research at university level and writing many academic articles. She also presented several research papers regarding this issue, in Bandung 2011, in Turkey 2012, in Singapore 2015 and several IPTAs in Malaysia
Her forte in training and consultancy are disciplinary varying from counseling and motivation push her passion to be a writer. Being a writer she has wrote several motivational books with PTS Publication, Dewan Bahasa Pustaka (DBP), Koperasi Khalifah JIwa, Dunia Iman and In-team Publication. She become a columnist “Kenali Diri, Bina Potensi’ for bi-monthly magazine known as Majalah Pendidik, a magazine circulated for teachers all over Malaysia, currently she involves as a book reviewer for PTS Publicatons Sdn Bhd.
Dr. Sakinah had exposed herself in various motivational trainings. She had specially received the touch of Dato Dr. Fadzillah Kamsah under his tutelage, Puan Ainon Mohd Chairman of PTS Media Group, renown Datuk Lawrence, Mr. Peter Lim, Mr. Gan Ah Seng, Dr H.M. Tuah Iskandar as well as Datuk Maznah Jalil to name a few. As an experience lecturer and motivator, she was an invited speaker for on air motivational talk’s series known as ‘Motivasi Pagi’ by TV3 and on air radio slot speaker for IKIM.fm for ‘Fiqhunnisaa’ program in 2009-2010. Besides IKIM.fm and TV3, Dr Sakinah was also was invited as a motivator with TraXX.fm. for Parenting slot and Wanita and Kerjaya at TV al- Hijrah and TV 1. Besides that Dr Sakinah was a company speaker and trainer for Zhulian distributors and was invited to all over the country and Singapore, Indonesia attending calls for training and motivational talks to Zhulian’s distributors.
